Meet the Redmond Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Redmond
Every garage door that leaves our hands right in Redmond has a name behind it. We’re four people who show up in the same trucks, wear the same uniforms, and answer to the same standard, but we got here by different paths. Some of us came up through commercial warehouse doors in Kent. Others started in residential service in Bellevue. What pulls us together is simple: we don’t quote work we haven’t diagnosed, we don’t start work the customer hasn’t approved in writing, and we don’t leave a job without showing the customer exactly what we found and what we did. That’s Clause 1 and the photo record, and it’s how we’ve operated since Marcus started this shop in 2015.
Our People
Marcus Deller - Owner & Lead Technician
I’m the one who answers when the phone rings at odd hours, and I’m usually the one who shows up if it’s a torsion spring that snapped at 6 a.m. before a commute. I started Servo in 2015 after ten years of watching other companies quote over the phone and then rewrite the invoice on the truck. That doesn’t happen here. I carry a full inventory of springs, cables, and openers on my truck, and I measure every failed component before I name a price. I live in the Redmond area, and my commute home takes me past enough of our customers’ houses that I notice when a door I fixed six months ago is still running quiet. My wife says I talk about drum cable wear at dinner. She’s not wrong.
James T. - Senior Installer
James handles the new door and replacement jobs, the ones where we’re pulling out a twenty-year-old wood door in Education Hill and fitting a Clopay or Amarr insulated steel panel system to a garage that was built when Redmond was still mostly berry farms. He’s been at this fourteen years, and he’s certified in wind-load installation for the gust patterns we get coming off the Sammamish River valley. James is the guy who notices that your header is a half-inch out of level before the track goes up, and he’ll tell you straight what that means for roller wear rather than hoping you don’t ask later. He keeps a fishing rod in his truck for the Snoqualmie River when a Saturday job ends early, which it almost never does.
Elena R. - Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice you hear when you call (425) 305-4847 at 11 p.m. because your opener’s logic board failed and your car is trapped in the garage. She’s been with us since 2019, and she knows which technician carries which parts, which neighborhoods in Redmond have the older Raynor installations from the 2000s building boom, and how to walk a customer through disconnecting a trolley carriage so they can open the door manually until we arrive. Elena schedules every job with a named technician and sends the on-the-way text herself. She grew up in Kirkland, still lives there, and has a specific grudge against the traffic on Redmond Way between 4 and 6 p.m., which she accounts for in every dispatch.
Darnell K. - Apprentice Technician
Darnell joined us in 2023 after four years in commercial HVAC and a side gig helping his uncle’s handyman business in Overlake. He’s working toward his full garage door technician certification, and right now he rides with Marcus or James on every job that involves high-tension spring work or custom track alignment. Darnell’s specialty is opener diagnostics, he’s already faster than I am at reading error codes on newer LiftMaster and Chamberlain smart units, and he asks the questions that remind the rest of us to explain what we’re doing to the customer instead of just doing it. He lives in a rental in downtown Redmond with a garage door that squeaks, which he refuses to fix until he earns his certification. I respect the stubbornness.
One Standard, Every Job

Servo Garage Doors Redmond is independently owned and operated under The Haven Standard, which means we hold our own license and insurance, we set our own schedule, and we answer to our own customers. The Haven Standard contributes the documentation system and the clauses we agree to work to. Clause 1 is the written price before any work starts. Clause 4 is the photo record, the evidence you receive showing what failed and what we replaced. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if we miss something, we come back and make it right, with terms you can read, not a handshake you have to trust.
We’ve made right over 18,000 garage doors since 2015. Every one had a written price agreed before the first tool came out. Every one closed with a documented photo record. That’s not a marketing line. It’s the log we keep, and it’s how we know whether we’re doing what we say we do.
If you need garage door repair, installation, opener service, or emergency help in Redmond, you’ll reach a live person when you call, you’ll get a named technician with an on-the-way text, and you’ll know what the job costs before anyone touches a wrench. Call (425) 305-4847.
